Panasonic Lumix GF2 Sample Photos

Lumix GF2

Omg!!!!!!! How I miss my blog!!! I sincerely apologize for neglecting you for about ........(can't even remember when was the last time I blogged!!!!). Anyways, now I am back! Guess what??? I just recently upgraded my sort-of-crappy digital camera to new Lumix GF2!!!! It was a real pain when it comes to shopping for a camera, much like when you want to shop for gadgets. I am not sure about everybody else, but I L.O.V.E gadgets, hence it takes me aaaages to decide which entry-level camera I should upgrade myself for. Unlike a lot of photography-savvy people out there, I honestly will tell you that I know nothing about photography. I know a tiny bit about getting the right angle but I am pretty much a point-and-shoot kind of photographer. Hence, I would like a camera that is user-friendly and BASICALLY takes good quality picture without having to spend hours to edit the pictures.

I came down to two runner ups in the end, one was Olympus PL series and another one was Lumix Lx or GF series. I don't know why I am not a fan of Canon or Nikon consider they are the most popular camera giants in the market and recently a camera shop's assistant told me the newest Nikon series just came out and apparently it has the fastest shutter speed in the entire camera world. *Major apology because I don't remember the series name. I tried to google it, it doesn't come up. The model looks appealing with snow-white body, including the lenses kit frames (all white). It was very pretty indeed, RRP at JR Duty free shop is  $870++.

Anyways, back to my Lumix GF2! I am not blogging on other cameras right now!
Before I decided to purchase the camera, I wanted to see some sample photos so I can actually see how the photo quality is, however due to some strange reasons, I couldn't find a proper sample photos. Look, I am not used to some photography jargons and I am not a pro. I don't need to see how the photo looks like with different ISO adjustment. I just want to see how the picture looks like! It was so frustrating trying to find proper sample photos the way I want it to be. In the end, I did find a few blogs with lengthy specification explanations, different camera comparisons, etc. I scrolled all the way down and found a few pictures uploaded using the camera unedited. Therefore, I decided I will be the one who actually go out and about to snap some photos and share it here with the rest of the world! Alrighty, enough with the rambles, here are some sample photos taken with Lumix GF2 without editing (only resizing, hence the pixels have been slightly adjusted), you'll be the judge!

These photos were taken at Melbourne city (CBD), Australia. The atmosphere is close to Christmas 2011 (= © Histoire de ma vie 2011 Please follow this link to see which Lumix model this photos were taken with as I don't have the photo of the camera itself..apologies for that :( The link also outlines the specifications of the camera.
